John Moran MD PhD

Dr. Moran received his PhD in Chemistry from UCLA and was a Post-doctoral Fellow at Harvard University. He worked in pharmaceutical and diagnostic technology development as a Principle Investigator at E. I. DuPont company. He received his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Storm Eye Institute.
In addition to clinical practice in Houston, TX, he has been interested in pharmaceutical discoveries and surgical optimization technology. He has developed several large-scale optimization systems for manufacturers of intraocular lenses and refractive lasers. He has also designed and manufactured advanced camera control systems for the special effects industry. Dr. Moran resides in Houston, TX.
