Prof. Srivannaboon graduated from the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. He completed his fellowship training in Refractive surgery with Marguerite B McDonald at EENT Hospital, Tulane University, New Orleans, USA and in Cornea at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.

He has been extensively involved in many studies as well as in educational trainings both locally and internationally in refractive surgery, ocular biometry and IOL calculation. He owns the patent for the Ocular Cyclotorsion measurement device and IOL calculation software in Thailand.
