Ronald Melles MD

Dr. Melles graduated from Stanford University with a dual degree in Biology and Chinese Languages. He attended medical school at the University of California San Diego and completed ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. His research interests include ocular biometry, IOL calculation formulas, aging related changes in refraction, hydroxychloroquine retinopathy, diabetic retinopathy, and the genetics of ocular disease.
